IN LOVING MEMORY
It is with great sorrow that we say goodbye to Jim Grizzell. Jim passed away on Tuesday, September 15 when he fell from a rooftop while at work for Direct TV. Jim began working for us in 2000 and continued until 2007 when he had to get a "real" job. Most of you will remember "Big Jim" as our head flagger. He had finesse with the flags like no other and he loved to be a part of the racing scene. He worked all of our local races as well as traveling with us to put on the Cascade Regional Series. He worked at many SKUSA Promoto Series events and the SuperNats on several occasions. Jim was a lot of fun and I don't know a person who met him who didn't love him. He loved to joke and kept us laughing whenever he was around. Jim had a special place in his heart for the kids and he was like a "second dad" or an "uncle Jim" to many of them. We will miss him. Our prayers go out to his family.
At the request of Jims' mother and family donations can be made to any Bank of America, under "The Grizzell Daughter's Assistance Fund"
